Soraya Aziz: Extremism in Old Bexleyheath Education System

Soraya Aziz is “Head of Computer Science” at Beths Grammar School, in Bexley (Kent), around 25 km from central London. This is located in “Old Bexley and Sidcup”, the parliamentary constituency of Rt Hon James Brokenshire, a Immigration Minister in the UK Home Office.

At the same time as holding a teaching position in the UK State Education sector, Ms. Aziz is London Vice-President of Pakistan’s extremist PTI Party, and she is responsible for organising public agitation and demonstrations in London against opponents of PTI.

There is a conflict between the extremist views of PTI, and Ms. Aziz’s continued employment in UK’s State Education System.  I will list the extremist views of PTI below.

The London 7/7 bombings were  organised by Mohammad Siddique Khan, a UK school teacher of Pakistan Punjabi origin.  Everyone who knew him at school was shocked by the murderous carnage he unleashed on London; He was described as kind, gentle, etc etc and he never discussed his political/religious views in the school environment.  Yet he was also a suicide bomber who massacred dozens of innocent people.

In this context, it is vital to understand the extremist policy positions which are openly held by PTI in Pakistan.  As a public official of PTI, with social media accounts stating her position [Twitter: @SorayaAziz], Ms. Aziz is working to spread extremism in Pakistan which is grossly at odds with the secular, liberal and tolerant ethos of the UK.

If the UK authorities agree that the views of PTI can be classified as extremist, then Soraya Aziz should be removed from her teaching position in the UK State Education system as a test example to demonstrate that the UK is serious about tackling extremism.  Assuming Ms. Aziz is not a UK citizen, she should be deported from the UK back to Pakistan.

Before I itemise below some of the extremist views of PTI, let us remember UK Prime Minister David Cameron’s speech last week, setting out UK’s new anti-extremism policy, which I commend fully, and wish to see implemented in practice.  PM Cameron said:

“It begins – it must begin – by understanding the threat we face and why we face it. What we are fighting, in Islamist extremism, is an ideology. It is an extreme doctrine.  And like any extreme doctrine, it is subversive. At its furthest end it seeks to destroy nation-states to invent its own barbaric realm.

And it often backs violence to achieve this aim – mostly violence against fellow Muslims – who don’t subscribe to its sick worldview.  But you don’t have to support violence to subscribe to certain intolerant ideas which create a climate in which extremists can flourish.  Ideas which are hostile to basic liberal values such as democracy, freedom and sexual equality

Ideas which actively promote discrimination, sectarianism and segregation.  Ideas – like those of the despicable far right – which privilege one identity to the detriment of the rights and freedoms of others.

And ideas also based on conspiracy: that Jews exercise malevolent power; or that Western powers, in concert with Israel, are deliberately humiliating Muslims, because they aim to destroy Islam. In this warped worldview, such conclusions are reached – that 9/11 was actually inspired by Mossad to provoke the invasion of Afghanistan; that British security services knew about 7/7, but didn’t do anything about it because they wanted to provoke an anti-Muslim backlash.”

AMEN

Now here are the official policies of PTI, of which Soraya Aziz is a UK-based Party official:

1. Praise for Taliban operations against UK Armed Forces

UK Armed Forces fought the murderous Taliban terrorists in Afghanistan for more than a decade.  During this time, the Jihadist Taliban terrorists killed 453 British servicemen and servicewomen, and injured thousands more.  British soldiers were blown up by IEDs, killed in suicide attacks, killed by rocket attacks, gunfire, even by bomb laden children who they came to provide medical help to.

Whilst the Jihadist Taliban were committing these atrocities, PTI Party officially supported the Taliban.  Imran Khan (PTI leader) stated many times that “Taliban are fighting a legitimate Jihad against occupation forces in Afghanistan”.

Soraya Aziz is a  London-based official of PTI, which supported Taliban in their guerrila actions against UK Armed Forces.

2. Persecution of Religious Minorities

In Pakistan, the minority Ahmadi Muslim sect is heavily persecuted, with special laws in place specifically to discriminate against them.  The Ahmadis believe that a man (M.G. Ahmed) who lived in the 19th century (1835-1908) was an Islamic Messiah, which is considered anathema by PTI supporters.

As a result, Ahmadis are prohibited by law from:

Saying “Salam-wa-Aleikum”

– Calling their Mosques a “Mosque” – instead they must call it “Place of Worship”

– Writing Quranic verses or “Muslim” on gravestones, otherwise Police come and deface the gravestones,

as well as many other legal restrictions outlined in “Ordinance XX”.  Thousands of Ahmadis have been jailed for these outrageous laws.  Hundreds have been killed, often openly, and not a single prosecution has occurred.  Bizarrely, there was even a suicide bomb terrorist attack against an Ahmadi Mosque in Lahore in 2010, with 94 killed.  Out of several terrorists, 2 were captured alive by the Ahmadi congregation and handed to the Punjabi Police – they have never been prosecuted.

Imran Khan and PTI officially support the anti-Ahmadi laws. He is careful not to support violence against Ahmadis, but he has gone on record to state that PTI will never support any amendment to the outrageous anti-Ahmadi laws, which starkly contradict the religious freedom and tolerance laws of the UK.

PTI official policy is: “PTI totally subscribes to the article in the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on the Ahmadis. It is not part of the PTI agenda to seek amendment of the said article in the Constitution.”

Soraya Aziz is a  London-based official of PTI, which categorically supports discriminatory laws which restrict freedom of religion and are completely at odds with UK law.

3. Jihadist Conspiracy Theories

UK PM Cameron warned of “ideas also based on conspiracy: that Jews exercise malevolent power; or that Western powers, in concert with Israel, are deliberately humiliating Muslims, because they aim to destroy Islam.

PTI official statements argue that Israel controls USA foreign policy.  This Jihadist thought process also argues that UK is USA’s poodle, and therefore by extension, UK foreign policy is also controlled by Israel.

See this Youtube video, showing Imran Khan directly stating that Israel controls USA foreign policy:

Nothing is too conspiratorial for PTI.  When Sri Lankan cricketers (& their British coach, Chris Broad) were attacked by Jihadists in Lahore, Imran Khan stated that the attack was carried out by RAW (India’s MI6/CIA equivalent).

Soraya Aziz is a party official of PTI, which is a staunch advocate of blood curdling Jihadist conspiracy theories, which lead to radicalisation.

4. Homophobia

PTI officially supports homophobic laws, under which gays in Pakistan are liable for extremist Sharia punishments including imprisonment, lashes, and even death.  In PTI-governed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, gays are routinely killed in public by their own family members, and the police take no action.

5. Against Women’s Rights

This charge against Soraya Aziz may seem strange to many in the UK.  How can a female teacher be against women’s rights?  On the face of it, this makes little sense from a Western perspective.  However, it must be noted that Pakistani (usually Punjabi) women based in the UK are also responsible for imposing forced marriages on their own daughters, and even planning honour killings, even holding down their own daughers whilst their throats are slit for the dishonour of falling in love with someone the family disapproved of.  Once this is understood, I urge you to take heed of PM Cameron’s warnings that extremist ideology must be tackled head on.

In Pakistan, there are vicious Misogynistic Laws, called the “Hudood Laws” [Hudood: “Crimes against God”].  Under these laws, a woman who is raped must produce 4 witnesses; if she cannot, the woman is jailed for “illicit sex” and the rapist is not prosecuted.  Around 80% of Pakistani women in jail and incarcerated for this reason.  PTI rejected a Bill to abolish these laws, condemning it as a “Made in Washington [DC] Islamic system”, ie only being recommended to please the Infidels of the West.

Even worse, Imran Khan has stated that “Promiscuity is the reason for the downfall of the West”.  See video below

Due to such barbaric ideology, thousands of vulnerable white teenagers (often as young as 12) have been systematically gang raped by gangs of Pakistani (Punjabi) paedophiles in the UK.

Soraya Aziz is a party official of PTI, which is a believes that “Promiscuity is the reason for the downfall of the West”.

6. Blasphemy Laws

In Pakistan, offences under the Blasphemy Laws (Section 295-C) are punishable by death.  Anyone who is considered to have insulted Islam or the Prophet Mohammed is liable for a mandatory death sentence – the judge in such a case has no option to award a lesser sentence.

Imran Khan’s PTI party is an enthusiastic supporter of the Blasphemy Law.  Imran has stated many times that the Blasphemy Law serves a valid purpose, which is to protect the Muslims from their religion being insulted.

This barbaric law is completely contradictory to the UK’s tradition of free speech.

Soraya Aziz is a party official of PTI, which is upholds a death sentence for insulting Islam.

Summary – Disqualify and Deport Soraya Aziz

If there were, for example, a Ugandan teacher working in London, that Ugandan teacher could not be held culpable for major political parties in Uganda which advocate death to Gays in Uganda.  However, if this hypothetical Ugandan teacher was a London-based Party Official of a Ugandan Political Party which advocated killing gays, and the teacher was organising demonstrations/agitations etc in London for that party, then a continued teaching position would be untenable.

Soraya Aziz is PTI London Vice-President.  PTI is a party which:

* Supported Taliban fighters blowing up British soldiers in Afghanistan

*Supports the persecution of religious minorities

* Supports viciously Homophobic laws

* Advocates blood curdling Jihadist conspiracy theories

* Supports barbaric anti-Women laws

* Supports the death penalty for Blasphemy

WIthin the context of rising extremism in the UK, as well as PM Cameron’s inspirational moves to curb Jihadist thinking in the UK Education Sector, Ms. Aziz must be removed from her position as it is no longer tenable.

It is time for the UK to realise that “Trojan Horse” extremists often pretend to be moderate, whilst espousing radical views.  Soraya Aziz is a party official of PTI, and therefore she must be associated with the radical views of PTI.

Beths Grammar School cannot be infected with such extremist views in its teaching body.

I suggest that Soraya Aziz should be removed from her position, and (if not a UK citizen) deported back to Pakistan.
